Marketing writing is a horse of a different color

More and more, marketing words in print, email, video, or on a website become our “solitary salesperson” with the responsibility of attracting attention and, ultimately, closing the sale without any additional support or intervention.

But marketing writing is different than any other kind of writing. It’s extremely complex. When done properly, however, it compels the reader (or prospect) to take action — whether that action is to buy now, or at the very least, take one or more positive steps in the direction of buying.

On Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. ET, I’ll be the guest on MarketVid’s Friday Webchat. My topic is how to strengthen marketing writing effectiveness and improve results.

During this 30-minute Webchat, I’ll talk about art and science of marketing writing and provide you with specific ideas for how you can improve your marketing writing skill and increase results.

MarketVid’s Friday Webchat is FREE, but requires registration… and you can do that when you CLICK HERE.

I hope you’ll join me… because each of us writes messages daily that are, in one way or another, selling messages. And by joining the Friday Webchat, I promise that you’ll learn a number of new ideas and techniques that you can put to work immediately.
